Initial report from Orang Pendek Expedition 2011

Cryptozoologist Adam Davies has returned from his 2011 Orang Pendek Expedition. Early reports from Davies on the latest Orang Pendek search is that things went very well and all members of the expedition team returned safely. Davies says that everything collected from the expedition has to be scientifically analyzed by credible experts in their fields and its already being scheduled. Davies has confirmed that they may have recovered a possible handprint , footcast, and even some new hair samples which may provide evidence of the existence of Orang Pendek.

Davies say they also have thousands of images taken via camera traps but it will take weeks to go through all of them. We will keep a close eye on the latest evidence found by Davies as it is examined and maybe this will be the expedition that finally proves that Organ Pendek is real and exist.

Storsjöodjuret “The Great Lake Monster” of Sweden

Here is an excellent video sent in by CryptoReports reader Mike Eriksson with some facts and information about The Great Lake Monster of Sweden. The lake monster also known as “Storsjöodjuret” is said to live in Lake Storsjon in Jamtland located in the middle of Sweden. Storsjöodjuret is described by many to be an aquatic or serpentine reptile having fins across its back and a dog like head. Some accounts have the creature as having several humps and measuring approximately six meters long.

The video contains some very interesting facts and information about the creatures origins along with Storsjöodjuret sightings and reports up to the present day. Some great local sceneries are showcased in the video along with some historical features related to the monster. CryptoReports would like to thank Mr. Eriksson for sending along his video for all our readers to enjoy and we encourage everyone who has a Cryptid story , sighting , pictures , or videos that would like to share to send them in and we will be happy to post them here at the site. New pictures of Nessie captured by fish farmer

Rowe Nessie 1

Once more the notoriously shy Loch Ness monster has been reportedly sighted in Scotland’s deepest loch. This time close to a commercial fish farm.

Jon Rowe, from nearby Lewiston in Drumnadrochit, took the eerie snaps moments before the mysterious shape slipped beneath the water.

And the stunned fish farmer is convinced that the shapes he saw in the morning light are Nessie.

He said: ‘It was a very strange morning. It was misty with a bit of rain and sunny at the same time.

‘There was a rainbow so I got my camera out to take a photo and noticed this really large dark shape in the loch with two humps that were barely out of the water.

‘My instant reaction was “That’s Nessie“.’

Mr Rowe has dismissed claims that the shapes he saw in the water were not the legendary beast of the deep said to stalk the atmospheric Highland loch.

He added: ‘I have no doubt, I work on the loch everyday and I’ve never seen anything like it.

‘Almost as soon as I took the shot the shape disappeared under the water and out of sight.

The 31-year-old told how he had not believed that a monster swam the depths of Loch Ness until he captured Nessie on film.

‘It can’t have been a buoy or a mooring as it’s in the wrong place and the ropes would be visible in the water.

‘A few people have said it was birds diving under the water – but I didn’t see any birds fly by. It can’t have been birds – the whole thing went down into the loch.

‘It was quite spooky but I think it’s really interesting.’

The legend of the Loch Ness Monster began in 1933 when its ‘existence’ was first brought to the world’s attention by George Spicer and his wife. They said they saw an unusual animal cross the road in front of them.

Countless subsequent searches of the loch over the years using sonar and other high tech approaches have failed to prove that the monster exists and lives in the loch.

The most frequent speculation surrounding the mythical creature states that it could be from a line of long-surviving plesiosaurs, though this has never been proved.

As a result the Loch Ness Monster remains a modern-day myth and sightings are often dismissed by the scientific community as wishful thinking.

Search for the Russian Yeti

“Russian Yeti Footprints”

Former world heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev is to lead a hunt for a mysterious creature known as the ‘Russian Yeti’.

The 38-year-old fighter – who lost his WBA title to David Haye in 2009 – is currently on a career break as he recovers from bone and joint problems.

But his health issues won’t stop him from leading a two-day mission to Siberia to hunt down the animal also known as the Kuzbass Bigfoot, a strange, humanoid creature thought to live in or around the Shoriya Mountains.

The beast has been spotted dozens of times in the Kuzbass region of southern Siberia and has become something of a tourist attraction in the local area, with hotels and restaurants naming themselves after it. The mystery creature even has its own Twitter account, presumably set up by some bright spark at the local tourist board.

Valuev – who is, ironically, famous for his inhumanly large frame – has become so intrigued by the stories of the eight-foot, hair-covered monster that he is determined to find it.

“I would like to see firsthand what is going on,” said the boxer, who has had all manner of injections and vaccinations ahead of his expedition to the remote region. “I’ll draw my own conclusions once I’ve been there.”

The first known traces of the Russian Yeti date back to 2005, when hunters found and photographed giant footprints in the snow.

Since then, the local council has been inundated with messages from hunters and hill walkers claiming to have spotted the beast.

And no doubt those imagined sightings will only increase when the 7ft, 23-stone Valuev is in the area.

Yet some remain sceptical of the boxer’s chances of successly witnessing the creature. As one local put it, “Valuev might be about the same size as our Yeti, but I don’t think it is going to come and see him because of that.”
