I really do feel sorry for this poor creature whatever he is or was. How the hell could they have feared for their lives? They needlessly killed this poor animal and theres no excuse for it. I hope they end up the same way he did someday with a gang on top of them beating them with stones just so as they know how it feels.
This creature is NOT sloth. Its snouth is totally different from a sloths snout. In fact the whole head is completely different to a sloths head. It resembles a seal to me, at least the head does anyway. It probably is an unknown sea creature. No big deal, we havent discovered every species yet. Its funny how people react when you say its an unknown. Automatically they "PFFFTT!!" but it is true that there are many species we havent discovered yet and this could well be one of them. It certainly is not a sloth though. If you get a picture of a sloth and compare them, especially around the head and facial features, it is obviously not a sloth.

The supposed "Chupacabra" is nothing more than a Xoloitzcuintli, a breed of hairless dog from Mexico. Here's a link to learn more...

Everybody seems to be on the wrong track(no pun intended). Why hasnt anyone examined the area around and below Jumonville Glenn (national park)? Walk slow and dont take your eyes away from the ledge for a second. You might catch a glimpse ;) All I can say is 30 years in these woods, "been there and done it"
